Cindy Cooper, RN, AE-C
Certified Asthma Educator

Cindy is President of the new Asthma Education Center of the Northwest; a registered nurse and certified asthma educator. She has two children, one of whom she has raised with moderate-severe persistent asthma. This has been one of the founding motivations in her passion for asthma education in the community setting. She has worked in critical care, long term care, management, school nursing, allergy and asthma, and now she brings her 25 years of experience to the Education Center.

Cindy believes in a community team effort around the care of asthma. Her visits with patients extend beyond the hospital and clinic settings and include extensive asthma education and self-care coaching.
